While the comic book movie scene is huge at the moment, one of the most annoying things about it all, is the fact that different companies own the rights to different characters, so there are some of our favourite comic book characters that we cannot get to see on the big screen. However, it seems that things are beginning to change for the better and we could see the companies coming together in a big way.

Following the successful introduction of Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, thanks to Sony seeing sense, it now looks like we could see even more characters coming over. According to the rumours, Fox are now keen to allow some of their characters to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which means we could see some of the X-Men or the Fantastic Four making the move over.
Matt Key explained, "I've heard from a few of my sources, my little birds that Fox and Marvel have... kind of talked, but not really, but like there's interest from Fox, like, 'Ooh, y'know, what they did with Sony and Spider-Man is actually pretty cool, like, maybe...' We're years away from that ever possibly happening... but I think that's what it would take... Fox joining hands with Marvel."

Comic book movie fans have been giving their views on this, with many of them suggesting that, if Fox do allow their characters to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then it needs to be a complete reboot of these characters and starting them from scratch. It would definitely be interesting to see if Marvel could make a success of some of the Fox failures.
