While the DC movie universe might still be struggling to make a positive impression with movie goers around the world, it is fair to say that the DCTV universe has been having a lot better luck, with a number of impressive television shows airing on The CW. The show that led the way for this impressive small screen universe was Arrow, which is still going strong and has a very impressive cast playing some great characters.
Actress Willa Holland has played the role of Thea Queen in Arrow since the very first episode but it looks like she could be about to quit the show, with the return of actor Colton Haynes as Roy Harper. We know that Colton is only returning for a short time and many believe that once he leaves again, he will take Thea with him, and executive producers Marc Guggenheim and Wendy Mericle have been talking about the return.
They shared, "We’re thrilled to announce that Colton Haynes will be reprising his role as Roy Harper. Roy is called back to Star City to help resolve an urgent matter with high stakes for the team. His short visit turns into something surprising when he reunites with Thea and sparks a change in both of their lives that will have long-lasting consequences."
It will be interesting to see if this is the case and we are going to have to say goodbye to Willa Holland as Thea Queen in Arrow. The show will return in the new year with its 10th episode of its current run, with Colton Haynes set to return to the show in episode 15. We cannot wait!
