Superstar Jennifer Lopez has been working in the entertainment industry for many years now and she has pretty much done everything there is to do in the business. Jennifer currently stars in and is executive producer on the hit NBC series Shades of Blues and, with the Emmy nominations set to take place very soon, the stunning star has admitted that she would love the show to be considered.
Lopez said, "It would be amazing. The work that I do and being an artist for so many years, there’s always a goal when you’re a little girl, like, ‘I want to win an Oscar one day, or I want to win an Emmy, or a Grammy.’ But then I’ve been in the business so long, the reward is actually being able to do this for a living. I really feel blessed... All that would just be icing on the cake if it happens."
While it has had some critics, Shades of Blue has clearly been doing quite well, so much so that Jennifer Lopez and co. have seen the series get renewed for a second season. Jennifer is already a very busy woman, with a lot of commitments on her plate, but she is delighted that the show has been given a second season.
Lopez added, "I’m super happy (about the renewal). I was like, ‘Oh great, that was really hard. I’ll do that again!' The show is so intense and the show does take a lot out of you. But, it was great and I’m glad everybody really liked it and is enjoying it."
