It has been many years now, since Miley Cyrus was that cute young Disney girl starring in the hit series Hannah Montana. These days, Miley has become a lot more controversial in her actions and what she says, with the star determined to make sure that she is always herself and will not let people tell her how she should act.

One of the most controversial things that Miley Cyrus has done with her music career, would have to be her music video for the hit track Wrecking Ball, which saw the star writhing naked on a Wrecking Ball. While some people have heavily criticised the video, Miley says that people should respect it for the art that it is.
Cyrus was chatting to Notebook magazine, when she told them, "You can talk about the sexuality all you want but ... you have to respect the fact that it's art, you have to respect the fact that when you watch the video it makes you feel something and gets you choked up at some points."

As well as talking about the Wrecking Ball music video, Miley Cyrus also went on to talk about her confidence as a person, admitting that she has not always felt so comfortable in her own skin. However, Miley has since decided to do her own thing and just be herself, making her much happier in herself.
Cyrus added, "I used to have the hardest time feeling good about myself physically. A lot of it started when I chopped my hair off and it was the first time I didn't listen to anybody. Because for once, I said I didn't care and I really didn't care! From that moment on, I decided that if I want my fans to be themselves, then I have to fully be myself all the time."
