Former Libertines frontman Pete Doherty has revealed how he is still coming to terms with the death of his close friend, singer Amy Winehouse. Amy and Pete formed a close bond in 2010 as they helped and supported each other through their drug addictions.
Pete explained, "I'm struggling with f***ing everything because I'm so bewildered about what happened to Amy. I was in bed when I heard the news of her death. Someone had to wake me up to tell me. I couldn't take it in and still can't. Coming to terms with what has happened is almost impossible. It's hard to think she's not with us anymore."
Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty became so close last year that Amy offered Pete a roof over his head when it seemed that nobody else would. It was also suggested that the two singers were working together at writing some music material.
