Riya Sen was 'slapped' by a director and she is not complaining about it? Yes, this actually happened and the actress revealed that not only did it occur but she understands and respects the director for doing so and would accept another 'slap' again from the director on the set of a film.
The beautiful actress in the early stages of her career was filming the movie "Taj Mahal" under the guidance of renowned director Bharathirajaa and she credits him for teaching her how to walk like a lady, the importance of her body language and even how to emote from her eyes. However, during the filming something happened and he slapped her. She was 16 years of age and the shock led her to leave the set and go back to school but he phoned her and convinced her to come back.
Her return to the film set led to her finishing the film and she learnt why he slapped her (he looked at her as his daughter). More importantly, looking back she realized that learning how to act under his guidance has helped her develop the acting range and skills that have turned her into an actress in great demand.
She is currently filming 4 Bengali film projects in which two of them are ninety percent English and Bengali, the third is with her sister and the fourth is titled "Motka" which means 'Fatso', something this gorgeous beauty has likely never been called.
The actress/model disclosed a 'secret' that not many actors will admit and that is the guidance and training she received from Bharathirajaa is something that very few directors take the time to teach and it has resulted in her becoming known not just as an attractive actress or 'eye candy' but a leading lady whose superb acting range has made her an in-demand acting commodity.
Riya Sen, a gorgeous actress who not only remembers being 'slapped' by a director and does so without regret. Talk about a surprise but sometimes the biggest surprises are from the people you would least suspect as demonstrated by the attractive actress.
