Hollywood actor Sebastian Stan may have become best known for playing the role of the Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but there is so much more to him than just that, with the actor having some exciting new movies coming our way, including his latest film I, Tonya. With the new project already receiving so much praise, Sebastian has admitted that he was always confident it would be something special.
Stan was asked if there was a moment when he knew I, Tonya would be special, to which he replied, "It was definitely on set. I mean, the movie kind of came together there and we knew because the days were really long ... 31 days to shoot it. And there were all these skating sequences and it was a lot to get done."
With there being so much to get done and such a short space of time to do it, you could find it understandable that the stars in the movie could become quite irritated with the long days of shooting, but Sebastian Stan insists that this was not the case. Sebastian says that everyone involved knew just how good the film could be, so kept patience with what the director was trying to do.
Stan added, "We never got frustrated because everyone was operating from a point of view of what was the creatively most important decision that we could make on that day. For the film, for the story ... it's what shot really needed to be in the movie."
I, Tonya featured at the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this month and is still awaiting an official theatrical release date.
