Victoria Pendleton became a household name following her success in the velodrome at the Olympics earlier in the year. Now, Victoria is taking part in the BBC dancing competition Strictly Come Dancing and she has admitted that she has lost a lot of weight since doing the show.

Pendleton told Radio Times, “I have lost about five kilos, mostly in muscle mass from my bum and thighs. I look down at my legs and they don't really feel like mine any more. And I'm having trouble with my clothes - everything is looking a bit looser, nothing fits well and my jeans, which used to be tight on my bum and thighs, are practically falling off me.”
While many women would love to be able to maintain a naturally slim figure, Victoria admits that she is struggling with her new body. Pendleton spent many years dedicating herself to getting her body into shape for cycling events and is sad to see that body go.

There has also been a change in diet for the Olympian, who had to drink protein shakes at all times of the day, to maintain her muscle. However, that has now changed, “I snack on chocolate-covered rice cakes and my body is turning back into a more feminine, girly shape,” added Victoria.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on BBC One on Saturday.
