It is fair to say that music star Miley Cyrus is no stranger to controversy and she does like to do and say some things that she knows full well are going to get her plenty of attention, whether it be good or bad. Over the course of the past few years, Miley really has upped her game and she has not been afraid to call out anyone she thinks deserves a bit of a telling off.
Now, Miley Cyrus has found her new target, as she has decided to hit out at music legend Mariah Carey, which will no doubt stir up a new celebrity war of words between the two stars. Despite the fact that Mariah has achieved more in her career than Miley could ever dream of, the young star has claimed that she would never want to be like the music superstar.
Cyrus stated, "I've never really been a fan, because it's so much about Mariah Carey. That's part of her shtick; I can see through that. That's part of what makes her a gay icon; like, it's about Mimi! It's about what she's wearing, and it's about her. What I make isn't about me. It's about sharing my story; it's about someone being connected to what I'm saying."
It will be interesting to see how Mariah Carey feels about these choice words from Miley Cyrus and we have no doubt that it will only be a matter of time before she hits back with a few words of her own. Prepare for some big celebrity beef people!
